Is the world really going to end in 2036?? well, I believe yes.

The asteroid Apophis or scientifically known as 99942, is an asteroid expected to hit the Earth on April 13 2036 and end all civilization as we know it.
Here is what we know about Apophis:

·         diameter 325 meters wide.
·         Mass: 26.99E9 kg
·         Density: 2.60 g/cm³
·         Discovered: June 19, 2004
·         Orbital period: 324 days
·         Orbits: Sun
·         Asteroid group: Aten asteroid

The asteroid 99942 Apophis (scientifically know as 2004 MN4) is an a near Earth asteroid. Which in the year 2029, we will have a close encounter with, Scientists use to believe that Apophis would collide with us in 2029, but this had then been postponed until 2036. Apophis, is also the asteroid to record the highest (level 4) on the Torinto Impact hazard scale.

Back in 2004, Scientists believed that Apophis would pass through a gravitational keyhole (1 "a tiny region of space where a planet's gravity would alter the orbit of a passing asteroid such that the asteroid would collide with that planet on a given future orbital pass."
But who can trust them anyway, I meant what happened when the clock struck 12 on 2000?? nothing they were all wrong, about everything, but this time there is proof.
This kept the asteroid onto a level 1. Until sometime in 2006 when it was determined that the chances of Apophis going through that gravitational keyhole, were very slim. As of January 9th 2013, the chances of Apophis hitting us is 1/ 32...I'm not sure about you, but I sure do not like those chances....

Anyways stay tuned Xx
